Centerview Partners, a financial advisory firm, the Hindustan Times and CNN Global Summit Lisbon paid Boris Johnson £750,000 for speeches he gave.
Since leaving Downing Street in September, Mr Johnson has earned £1,030,780 from speaking engagements. This includes the £276,000 he received in October for a speech to the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
According to his register of interests, this fee covered nine hours of work, making it almost £31,000 per hour. While the rest of the country struggles to afford heating and hot meals this winter due to the cost-of-living crisis.
