Twitter has been flooded with hashtags #MoroccoVsFrance , #Moroccan, #Ziyech, #Dembele and many more following the semi-final match between Morocco and France. It was a highly skilled and hard-fought battle, which ended with the 2018 World Cup Champions France winning with two goals for nothing. The results of the match have prompted football fans to express their feelings on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. The French fans have been celebrating their win, while Moroccan fans, along with fans from other African and Arab nations, have expressed their pride in how far the Moroccan team has come for the first time in FIFA World Cup history, regardless of their last loss.



Fans were tweeting throughout the game about how stressful this match is to watch with ‘ Morocco missing many chances to score’ .
