UK TREND : The Conservative party faces yet another scandal
Conservative MP Bob Stewart has been accused of making racist remarks, allegedly telling a man to “return to Bahrain.” The Beckenham MP is now facing two public order charges following an incident that took place outside an event organized by the Bahraini embassy.
The incident occurred in December of the previous year when a campaigner confronted him about his connections to the country. Mr. Stewart is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on July 5.
