The Palestinian Forum in Britain is inviting all Muslims for the Eid Al-Fitr prayer and celebration at Byron Hall, west of London, joined by the well-known Egyptian Imam and reciter Sheikh Muhammad Jibril. He will be leading the prayer at 9:00 AM and proceed to read the Al-Fitr’s sermon in both English and then Arabic.
It is expected that Eid al-Fitr for 2022 will be on Monday, 2nd of May, according to astrological forecasts and the statement issued by the European Council for Fatwa. However, it is still not confirmed.
Most of London’s Sunni Muslims agree to follow what the major mosques in London, especially the Central Mosque of London, agree upon regarding the start and end of Ramadan.
The celebration organized by the Palestinian Forum in Britain will include a variety of activities for the families and their friends to enjoy that will start at 9:00 AM and will last until 9:00 PM.
Including serving food from different regions, such as Arab Cousine and hosting games for the children.
The famous Palestinian artist, Rabih Rizk, will also join the celebration to help bring the joyous spirit, along with Al-Fursan folk dance group
This is not the first time that the Palestinian Forum in Britain organize an amazing Eid celebration, last year they organized the prayer for Eid Al-Adha in a sports stadium. however, this year the Forum decided to preserve a large hall to provide parking spaces and to avoid bad weather complications.
Due to the pandemic, it had been a while since Muslims got the chance to celebrate Eid, and so it is expected that a large audience will join this event to finally celebrate Eid!
