UK TREND: People shocked over Prime Minsters behaviour.

Tuesday, Prime Minster Rishi Sunak took a taxpayer-funded helicopter costing £1,000 an hour to a picture opportunity he could have reached in just 75 minutes by rail. After his party lost the local election, the prime minister spent the morning visiting Southampton. While having his blood pressure checked at a pharmacy, he had his picture taken.
Prime Ministers behaviour
The Prime Minister’s actions, which seem very out of touch with everyday people, have sparked outrage, and the news has been trending on Twitter as a result.
Sunak doesn't care

People were shocked and outraged with actions of Sunak, they were wondering “who is advising the Prime Minster. As taking a one-hour train trip to Southampton costs around £30 (return). By private helicopter it costs approximately £6,000 (return).” People stated that “If he is trying to present himself as a ‘man of the people’ – this really isn’t helpful!”
Prime Minister, who on earth is advising you? Taking an one hour train trip to Southampton £30 (return). By private helicopter approximately £6,000 (return). If you're trying to present yourself as a 'man of the people' – this really isn't helping you!https://t.co/BjiXGvaVmP

Another twitter user shared: “Trains are so for the little people. Taxpayers foot bill for Rishi Sunak’s helicopter ride to photo op. Prime Minsters trip to Southampton would have taken a little over an hour by train”.

Individuals were furious, highlighting how “people are still having to used food banks and can’t pay their bills. But the PM spends £6k of taxpayer’s money on a helicopter trip instead of taking the train”.

Many were calling him an “out of touch Prime Minster of the Corrupt Kingdom of Broken Britain” for his unnecessary costs, such as this £6000 helicopter ride and taking private jets to Scotland and Leeds.
You flew on a helicopter using taxpayer money (cost £6000) when the train return journey was just 2 hours & £30 from Waterloo to Southampton. Private jets to Scotland & Leeds! But People are queuing up for Food Banks! Out of Touch PM of Corrupt Kingdom of Broken Britain! Shame!!

Individuals were offended by his actions, as by choosing to take “a taxpayer funded helicopter, costing £6000 rather a £30 return train ticket”. It is as if “he is laughing in the faces of all those suffering in the cost-of-living crisis”.
So instead of taking a £30 train to Southampton & back, PM Rishi Sunak took a taxpayer-funded helicopter, costing £6000. He laughs in the faces of all those suffering in the #CostOfLivingCrisis. Many barely have a quid in their pockets to last a week for food. #CostOfGreedCrisis

People were requesting that rather than spending money on private helicopters, the Prime Minster should focus on “sufficiently funding the NHS”.
The best way to ensure medical care for all is to pay NHS staff enough money so they don't leave, stop spaffing money on helicopters and bungs to your pals, and fund the NHS instead. Stop lying as well, cut out the patronising tweets and call a #GeneralElectionNow

They also noted that “the £6000 he spent on his helicopter today could have been used to pay a nurses salary for several months”.
You could have saved the cost of the helicopter (£6000) you used today – that was the cost of a nurse for several months
