Hundreds in London protest Gaza raids and Al-Aqsa attacks
Hundreds of people gathered today after Friday prayer, April 7, in front of the Israeli embassy in London to protest the Israeli attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa and the bombing raids on Gaza Strip. Palestinian Forum in the UK, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al Aqsa organization, the League of British Muslims, and the Stop the War Coalition called for the protests in London.
Fares Al-Tamimi spoke on behalf of the Palestinian Forum in Britain, blaming the government of Rishi Sunak for the attacks, saying: “The British government established this state at our expense and is still supporting this apartheid state.”

Al-Tamimi then added: “I salute Jerusalem and its brave strong people who protect Al-Aqsa with their soul and body day and night against Zionists.”
Kamel Hawash, head of the British Solidarity Campaign with Palestine, also spoke, protesting Western double standards in dealing with the Palestinian cause, calling on the international community to stand firmly with the Palestinian right and condemn these brutal attacks of the occupation.
The people movement in the UK with the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims was a way to express their protests against the occupation crimes and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinians Forum in the UK is organizing huge demonstrations on the anniversary of the Nakba on the thirteenth of May 2023.
