Eid ul-Fitr London 2023 Festival to be held on Saturday 22nd
Marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Arab community gathers to celebrate Eid Ul-Fitr 2023 London at Byron Hall in Harrow on Saturday 22 April from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with free entry to all and no pre-registration required.
In past years, a joint statement was issued by a large number of mosques and Islamic Centres to announce the day of Eid Ul-Fitr 2023 in the United Kingdom, in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s announcement. Eid Al-Fitr would be confirmed upon the sighting of the new crescent moon in Mecca, marking the end of Ramadan.
The day of Eid Al-Fitr is yearly calculated by the highest university jurisprudential institution in Europe, which is the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR), in accordance with the astronomical sighting of the new moon.
