It comes at a difficult time for Royal Mail. The postal service has been embroiled in a bitter dispute with the Communication Workers Union over jobs, pay, and conditions for the past year. Social media platforms have been flooded with complaints from Royal Mail customers relating to poor service during the strike.
Many individuals have been sharing their terrible experiences with their Christmas post arriving after the New year’s, even if it was sent 1st class.
