Predictions of Overhaul in British Travel

The British people were promised reforms to travel procedures before the first of October. It now appears that updates are coming as soon as September 17th or the following week. According to Sky News reports, the traffic light system will undergo a complete overhaul, and experts have predicted changes, including:
- A new two-tier system, dividing countries into either allowed or restricted.
- Abandoning expensive PCR tests for all fully vaccinated travelers.
- Significant reduction in red list countries.
- Removal of up to 12 high-profile countries from the red list.
