Policeman sacked for not paying for two packets of java cakes

A policeman found himself sacked from the force because he took two packets of Jaffa Cakes from a charity stall without paying full price.

According to the BBC, officer Chris Dwyer paid just 10p for two packets of the cake instead of their full price at £1, which marked the end of his service in the West Yorkshire Police force.

Even though the 51-year-old tried to change his story at court, the judge ruled him guilty of gross misconduct and he given an instant dismissal due to a breach of trust and professionalism.
