UK’s worst care homes are inhabited by country’s poorest
New data shows that 69 per cent of people living in UK’s –England’s – worst care homes are some of the poorest in the country.
The care homes rated as “inadequate” mostly hosts people who cannot pay their own bills, reports the Guardian.
This new data reveals the impact of England’s two-tier social care system. It shows that the quality of care for the most vulnerable depends on how much money they have saved up.

Mr Wali was an Afghan refugee who came to the UK two years ago, according to the Evening Standard.
The incident is said to be filmed by some students and shared on Snapchat, but police implore everyone to refrain from sharing it out of respect for the victim’s family.
The identity of the perpetrator has yet to be made public, perhaps on the grounds that he is underage.
