The Leaders Training Centre affiliated with the Al arab in UK Platform has announced its support for a specialised training programme in the Kingdom of Morocco, in cooperation with the Scouts of Morocco Association, as part of the Leadership Academy activities held under the theme “Pioneers of Leadership”. The programme will take place from 27 July to 7 August 2026 at Ras El Ain Camp in Ifrane, under the supervision of Mr Adnan Hmidan, President of the Al arab in UK Platform, with the participation of more than 150 female and male leaders representing various regions of the Kingdom of Morocco.

This programme comes within the framework of a partnership aimed at supporting leadership development and enhancing the skills of male and female leaders through a training experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. It covers several areas related to community leadership, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, media, and marketing.

The Leadership Academy represents a unique training space designed to equip participants with new tools and skills that help them develop their leadership abilities, refine their talents, and transform knowledge and ideas into initiatives, projects, and practical solutions.

The academy is divided into two main training units: the Community Leadership Unit and the Media Marketing Unit. The programme combines lectures, interactive workshops, and practical applications, helping to strengthen the spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship, develop strategic leadership skills, and enhance participants’ abilities in media, marketing, and scouting activities.

The Leaders Training Centre affiliated with the Alarab in UK Platform contributes to delivering this training experience as part of its partnership with the Scouts of Morocco Association. The centre plays a key role in providing training content and leadership development, while benefiting from specialised expertise in leadership, development, media, and entrepreneurship.

The programme is supervised by Mr Adnan Hmidan, President of the Al arab in UK Platform, who has extensive experience in training, development, leadership qualification, and media. His experience has contributed to designing and delivering training programmes that combine knowledge with practical application, while addressing the needs of young leaders and the requirements of contemporary community and media work.

The academy brings together more than 150 female and male leaders representing various regions of the Kingdom of Morocco. Through a diverse programme, participants will have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, strengthen their abilities in entrepreneurship, media, and marketing, and acquire practical tools that support the launch of initiatives and the creation of solutions.

The academy’s activities are scheduled to conclude with the organisation of an Entrepreneurship Hackathon and a Media Hackathon. This practical experience aims to transform participants’ ideas into innovative projects, solutions, and initiatives in the fields of entrepreneurship and media, providing participants with an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained throughout the programme.

Through organising this academy, the Scouts of Morocco Association emphasises that the role of a scout leader is not limited to receiving knowledge, but extends to creating solutions and leading change. This is achieved by linking scouting training with practical pathways in leadership, entrepreneurship, and media, while enhancing opportunities for development and qualification within an inspiring training and natural environment.

The Leadership Academy is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the National Camping University, the National Association of Moroccan Scouting, in addition to a number of national and international partners. This reflects the openness of the Moroccan scouting movement to specialised experiences and expertise, as well as its commitment to building a new generation of leaders capable of creating initiatives and shaping the future.
