Ten-year-old boy found hours after he was ‘forced into car’
The boy was on his way home from school, when he reportedly was ‘forced into a car’. Over an hour later, he was found in a distressed state by a member of the public.
The missing boy was found just before 5pm on Monday in Stoke Park, Bristol, between Lockleaze and the M32, reports the Mirror.
When the police asked him where he has been, he told them he had been forced into a car on his walk home. He had left school around an hour-and-a-half before, according to Bristol Live .
The Police force told Bristol Live they are taking the report seriously. They are imploring anyone who lives in the Lockleaze area or was there at the time of the incedent to recall if they saw anything suspicious. If so, to report it to the police.
Police have asked driver in the area who might have dashcam footage from the time, on the afternoon of Monday, October 4, to get in touch.
The force understands the report may be distressing to many parents in the area. That is why they want to reassure parents that the incident is being treated as a priority.
While they look into the case, police will also conduct high visibility patrols in the neighbourhood as a precaution.
The boy and his family are being supported by officers, while the boy’s school is being kept up to date with the investigations to reassure them of their pupils’ safety.
