Rahmeh Al-Adwan: NHS Arab Doctor Targeted in Media Smear Campaign
The Zionist media machine continues to target individuals who speak out against Israel’s actions in Gaza, using smear campaigns and public pressure to discredit them. Among those now in the spotlight is Dr Rahmeh Al-Adwan, an Arab doctor whose personal information has been shared online, with calls for her dismissal gaining traction.
Al-Adwan became the subject of scrutiny after The Daily Mail, a British tabloid known for its sensationalist reporting, and the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” accused her of sharing content linked to Hamas and inciting against what they call the “Jewish state.” Their claims stemmed from her criticism of Israel’s mass arrests of Palestinians taken as hostages.
The backlash quickly escalated, with online campaigns demanding her removal and threats directed at her and her family, prompting police involvement to ensure their safety.
Al-Adwan Responds to The Daily Mail
In response, Al-Adwan dismissed the accusations as misleading and defamatory, promising to release evidence refuting them. She criticised the way her words had been taken out of context and framed as incitement, arguing that the backlash against her was politically motivated.
She also expressed concern over the extent to which personal information had been circulated, describing it as an attempt to intimidate her into silence. However, she remained firm in her stance, stating that such attacks only reinforced the importance of continuing to speak out.
Despite the pressure, Al-Adwan maintained that she would not back down, emphasising that efforts to silence pro-Palestinian voices would not succeed. She intends to pursue legal action to hold those responsible for the defamation campaign accountable.
