A glance at the Libyan culture within London!
The outstanding Libyan woman living in the United Kingdom, Eman Fezzani, had organized a Libyan culture evening at Acacus restaurant on Sunday 30 January. the North African cultural event took place in London, UK.
Many people from the Libyan and Arab Communities joined the joyful event full of Arabian music, poetry, and art.
The event aimed to raise cultural awareness, get to know each other’s culture, show the different Arab heritage, and highlight the Libyan identity. About a week ago, the Moroccan community organized an outstanding Moroccan and Arab Exhibition in Watford with the same aim.

Ms. Iman Fezzani is a cultural activist specializing in the field of Libyan heritage. She holds a master’s degree in the history of Islamic arts and architecture from the University of London SOAS, and has participated in a number of exhibitions and cultural festivals. She is also a member of the Arab and African Cultural Forum, and a member of the Association of Libyan Community Organizations in Britain.
Al-Ferjani Library for Arabic Books participated in the evening by displaying a group of cultural, literary, and historical books. Bazin Kitchen also participated in the event by displaying traditional Libyan food and sweets.
And of course, you cannot have a Libyan event without serving the traditional Libyan tea with almonds and mint.
Many known Arab public figures had come to enjoy the event from London, Oxford, Leicester, and more.
There are many more cultural programs and activities organized by Ms. Iman Fezzani in the coming weeks, where she will host events attended by a number of literary, artistic, and cultural known figures.
