A Romanian judge has decided that controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan will immediately be placed under house arrest rather than in custody.

The brothers have been held since December, and they are currently under investigation for rape, people trafficking, and organising a gang. Each has denied any wrongdoing.

Andrew Tate is under house arrest!

The hashtag #Andrew_Tate has been trending on social media since the announcement. Supporters of the influencer have expressed their joy over his release and have shared that “ this suggests he hasn’t done wrong, as he was released for a reason”. While opposers of the influencer have shared that “ the situation is disturbing and why anyone would support him, and his brother is confusing”.

Supporters were celebrating his release and spreading the message “ that Andrew Tate is innocent”.

Muslim fans in particular were overjoyed, as he had recently converted to Islam, so he is now viewed as a “brother in deen”, they were tweeting and praying for “ Allah to make his Imaan stronger”.

They were glad he has been released from prison and “ will not be spending the rest of Ramadan fasting in Jail”.

Another individual stated that the fact that he has been released “ shows that he is a victim”.

Critics of Andrew Tate were disappointed with the news and sharing that “ when they saw Andrew Tate trending, they thought he finally kicked the bucket, yet it was an opposite situation, so disappointing”.

People were furious and were questioning the Romanian authority’s judgment as to “ why they released him out of jail, when they had one job (to serve justice)”.

A few Muslim individuals were also opposers of Andrew Tate, particularly the girls, tweeting that “if shaytan is locked up during Ramadan then why is Andrew Tate out of prison”. Essentially comparing Tate to the devil.
