15-year-old dies of COVID before receiving the vaccine

15-year-old Jorja Halliday, from Portsmouth tested positive for on the day she was due to receive the vaccination against the coronavirus.
Ms. Halliday’s mother is warning children about negligence in receiving the coronavirus vaccination, writes the Mirror. At the young age of 15, Jorja experienced flu like symptoms which escalated to the point where her heart rate was double its normal pace. It was later confirmed she contracted covid-19.
The young girl sadly died in hospital just four days after receiving her PCR test results. Her symptoms began as a sore throat and an inability to down food or even water.
Unexpected Passing
Despite being placed on a ventilator at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, Hants, Jorja never stabilised as her heart was under too much strain.
Preliminary results from the hospital’s medical examiner indicate the ‘beautiful young lady’ had Covid myocarditis, heart inflammation caused by the virus.
Her mother, Tracey Halliday, said: “They worked as well as I think they could medically but were unable to save her. She had the best of care, I know that they did everything they could to save her.”
The 40-year-old mom and her family are devastated. Tracey now she fears children are too ‘blase’ about the virus – with parents presuming their kids will simply recover, as she said to the Mirror.
Jorja Halliday, 15, was “a loving girl, talented kick boxer and aspiring musician”. She was entirely healthy.
Jorja died of Covid myocarditis on the very day she was due to receive her vaccination.

She continued: “She was going to have the jab on Tuesday. But because she tested positive on Saturday she was isolating. When her isolation period was over she was going to get it. She was meant to get vaccinated on the day she passed away. (Alprazolam)
Jorja will be remembered as a kind-hearted and loving young woman by all those who knew her, including family members, teachers and school mates. He premature death must alert other parents to hasten vaccinating their children
The coronavirus vaccine is currently being offered to children 12-years-old and over.
