UK TREND: The Royal Family exposed on social media
The hashtags #Lady Hussey, #HarryandMeghan, and #RoyalFamily have been trending on social media platforms recently, as members of the public accuse the royal family of institutional racism.
In the wake of the incident between Lady Susan Hussey and charity boss Ngozi Fulani, the public has again accused the Royal family of racism. Consequently, Lady Hussey has stepped down from her position.
There is a divide among those who think Lady Hussey was wrongly accused of racism when she was merely interested in the lady’s background. And those who believe Ms. Fulani truly experienced racism.
UK Trend: Institutional Racism among the Royal Family!
The incident occurred during a Buckingham Palace reception during which Lady Susan Hussey, Prince William’s godmother, questioned Ngozi Fulani about her background. According to Fulani, Lady Hussey shifted her hair to see her name badge and repeatedly asked her where she was from. “It was like an interrogation,” said Ms. Fulani of her conversation with Lady Hussey, 83.
Even if Lady Hussey’s questions were slightly blunt, supporters argue that she meant ‘no harm’ with them.
WE DEMAND THAT LADY HUSSEY IS REINSTATED IMMEDIATELY!!!
It is not racism to politely show an interest in the background of a black woman whose ancestors are obviously of African extraction.

Broadcasters like Sophie Corcoran have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment with the Royal Family for abandoning Lady Hussey after she committed decades to their service. It is because Buckingham Palace wants to avoid any negative press while the King attempts to redefine the monarchy in the modern era.
However, many other members of the public have defended Ngozi Fulani and insisted she has a valid experience.
Her experience was compared to Meghan Markle’s, who also claimed to have experienced institutional racism within the royal institution, but no one believed her.
Institutional racism isn’t a new charge facing the Royal Family. Oprah’s interview with Harry and Meghan raised serious concerns, with Meghan alleging the family had concerns about Archie’s skin colour while she was pregnant.
It was also noted that Lady Susan Hussey was entrusted with the task of welcoming Meghan Markle and assisting her integration into the Royal Family. Fans are now wondering what Lady Hussey might have said to Meghan Markle in private, how she treated her, and if she was one of the reasons the couple left the UK in light of the claims against her as well as Meghan Markle’s comments in her interview with Oprah.
Additionally, the trailer for Harry and Meghan’s upcoming Netflix series, “behind closed doors,” which will provide viewers a glimpse into their relationship with one another and with the media, has drawn attention to the Royal Family.
It’s time for Meghan and Harry to explain their side of the tale, according to a number of supporters on twitter.
While many others criticised Meghan and Harry, claiming that they simply participated in the Oprah interview and this Netflix series to acquire fame and media attention.
One of these critics was Piers Morgan, who claimed that “Harry and Meghan’s purpose is clearly to destroy the Royal Family.”
