The Jordanian Forum’s First Iftar
Dozens of Jordanians responded to the invitation of the Jordanian Forum in the United Kingdom to eat Iftar at Patchi Restaurant Hall, west of London, on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Bringing along their families to enjoy Iftar and the Ramadan spirit
The invitation was part of the Jordanian Forum’s initiative to allow interactions between members of the community and their families, according to what the Forum’s Board of Trustees Chairman Helmy Harahsheh stated.
He added, "We seek to strengthen the relations between members of the Jordanian community in all Britain, and so we announced two Iftar events during the next week in Cardiff on the evening of Friday, April 22, and in the city of Manchester on the evening of Saturday, April 23. It is worth noting that the Jordanian Forum in the United Kingdom, in its official status, is the result of the efforts of a number of active Jordanian community leaders in Britain, who had several previous initiatives to reunite the Jordanian community.
The beginning of 2022 marked the ending of the Covid-19 crisis, and so it was suitable to start working on our community service.
Saturday, March 26, 2022, marked the official announcement of the launch of the Jordanian Forum in the United Kingdom witnessed by a board of trustees that included Helmy Al-Harahsheh as Chairman, and the membership of Ali Qaddoumi, Moaz Al-Masry, Adnan Humaidan, Iman Ababneh, Anwar Al-Hiyari, Aghleb Al-Atili, and Abdel-Qader Nabulsi, Ahmed Al-Khawaldeh, Muhannad Ziada, and Louay Judeh as Secretary.
