Schadenfreude is neither allowed nor it is a goal Russia Ukraine Invasion
War is always disastrous and destructive and can only lead to catastrophise; for the following reasons:
War is usually paid for by the ordinary people, which is what concerns us in the first place.
Huge quantities of wheat is imported from Russia and Ukraine; this can pose a direct threat to countries depending on Russian-Ukraine supplies.
At least ten Arab countries are threatened to suffer from a real famine if the crisis escalates, including Egypt and Lebanon.
Gas future prices rocketed by 31% and are likely to rise even more.
We cannot get out safely from similar crisis in the nearest future, except if we can solely hold and manage our resources.
Let us remember that the Israeli occupation took advantage of this opportunity to attract tens of thousands of immigrants from Ukraine.
It is shameful and absolutely rejected to use Ukrainian women in any sarcastic comments, or jokes.
In conflicts and wars, humanitarian all civilized people should reject bloodshed, and sympathize with suffering people especially women, innocent children and the elderly.
This battle is not a mere sports match where you can support one team against another, but you can always reject the injustice and stop missing with the people’s lives and possessions.
This is not Ukraine’s battle with Russia, although Ukraine is the scapegoat that NATO offers in its conflict with Moscow, which exacerbated genuine Russian feeling of NATO direct threat.
Ukrainians are not unified against Russia, but divided between Orthodox closer to Russia and Catholics on the other side.
What is happening on the long run?
This battle means a global decline in Western influence, and shows the struggling position of countries that claim otherwise.
Every sane person can see how Britain’s utmost support to Ukraine was an miserable example of what the West can offer:
- Impose economic sanctions
- Illumination of the government headquarters with the Ukrainian flag
- The ambassador was kicked out from the office of the Foreign Minister
- Mobilizing forces on the borders of other countries
These forces may be withdrawn if the whole situation has become out of control! We still remember how Washington announced that it would not keep any of its soldiers there!
The Ukrainian president, was a real example of a brave heart but he taught the whole world an important lesson:
- American is not trustworthy
- Relying on the promises of Washington and London is always risky and can lead to catastrophe
What did the Ukrainian president do?
He told EU leaders via video link: This might be the last time you see me.
Unfollow all world leaders on Twitter!
Some of the Ukrainian people, practically rushed to escape from the danger zones. Most of the people did not pay attention to the idea of popular armament or mobilization, and rejected the idea of confronting with heavily armed, well trained Russian soldiers.
The most important lesson is that the countries that can confront and fight bravely are those relying on their own, and the countries that can survive are those self-sufficient. Leaving yourself a hostage to others concerns and priorities can only lead to misjudgement and hence more suffering.
