“Sanad” app is now required to enter public facilities in Jordan
Jordan’s public facilities and locations will require any visitors to hold a green profile in the government’s mobile app “Sanad” before entry.
According to Roya News, the Jordanian government has announced that:
“Malls and shopping centers, banking sector facilities, telecommunications companies and their affiliated exhibitions, tourist spots and popular restaurants, cafes, hotels, offices of electricity distribution companies, and water companies, are obligated not to allow anyone entry unless they have a “Green Sanad”.
This has been made an official requirement starting from Monday the 18th of October.
What is Sanad?
SANAD is a “Mobile App that allows access to Jordan Digital Services with single e-ID,” according to the government’s website. The app gives individuals a green profile if they have been fully vaccinated. On the other hand, Sanad will give a red profile to those who have not taken their two jabs of covid-19 vaccine, and do not have a recent negative PCR test result either.
Anyone with a red profile on Sanad will be banned to enter any of the aforementioned public facilities in Jordan.
