PFB Calls for London Protest Against Trump’s Plan to Displace Palestinians
The Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) has organized a mass demonstration on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM, to take place outside the UK government headquarters in Whitehall, central London. This protest is in response to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent statements advocating for the forced displacement of Palestinians and supporting ethnic cleansing policies.
Purpose of the Demonstration
The demonstration is part of a broader, ongoing campaign by the PFB to exert pressure on the British government, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, to take a clear and firm position against Trump’s plans. These plans are seen by the PFB as blatant violations of Palestinian rights and a direct contradiction of international law.
Prominent Speakers and Participants
Key speakers at the event will include prominent journalist Myriam Francois, Palestinian Youth Movement activist Janine Hourani, and Fares Amer, spokesperson for the Palestinian Forum. In addition, several other guests will address the crowd, stressing the importance of resisting all attempts to undermine the Palestinian cause and reject efforts to displace the Palestinian people.
Condemnation of Palestinian Authority’s Collaboration
Zaher Birawi, chairman of the Palestinian Forum, emphasized that the demonstration also aims to strongly condemn the Palestinian Authority’s collaboration with the Israeli occupation in suppressing Palestinians, particularly in the West Bank. Birawi described this collaboration as a betrayal of the blood of Palestinian martyrs and a disregard for the suffering of prisoners and detainees.

The Palestinian Forum has called on members of the Palestinian and Arab communities, as well as all supporters of Palestinian rights, to participate in this important demonstration.
