Palestinian Forum in Britain announces Arab Communities Day 2026 in London
The Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) has announced a new community event, Arab Communities Day 2026, set to take place in London on Sunday 1 February.
The event will bring together Arab families, community groups and cultural organisations from across the UK for a day celebrating Arab culture, shared heritage and community solidarity.
Organisers say the day will be held under the theme “One Heart, One Struggle: From Gaza to Sudan”, reflecting a belief that Arab communities are connected by common cultural and humanitarian concerns, regardless of national borders.

Culture, food and community in one space

Sponsored by Al-Arab in UK (AUK), Arab Communities Day is described by organisers as a modern, community-focused cultural gathering, inspired by the idea of bringing people together around heritage, art and shared experience.
The programme will include country stalls representing different Arab nations, offering visitors a chance to explore traditions, crafts and cultural stories. A dedicated food area will feature dishes from across the Arab world, giving families and visitors an informal way to experience Arab culture through food and conversation.
Open invitation to take part
PFB has also invited community groups, families and initiatives to book stalls representing their countries and contribute to shaping the day.
Organisers say the aim is to create an open, welcoming environment that encourages connection between different Arab communities in Britain, while giving younger generations a space to engage with their cultural roots.
Free entry, no registration required
The event will be free to attend, with no advance registration needed, in an effort to make it accessible to as many people as possible.
