The Palestine Coalition in the UK Calls for Urgent Protest Outside the Israeli Embassy Against “Prisoner Execution” Law
The Palestine Support Coalition has called on the British public to mobilize in large numbers outside the Israeli Embassy at 6:00 PM today, Tuesday, March 31, 2026. This protest comes in condemnation of the Knesset’s passing of a law that permits the execution of Palestinian prisoners and hostages.
This new barbaric move legitimizes state-sanctioned killing, even beyond the occupation’s own legal frameworks, and further entrenches the apartheid system in the Occupied Territories.
The Palestine Support Coalition includes:
- The Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB)
- Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC)
- Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA)
- Stop the War Coalition
- Muslim Association of Britain (MAB)
- Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND)
Emergency Protest Details:

The Coalition has called for a massive public mobilization to express categorical rejection of the racist “Execution Law” targeting Palestinian prisoners. The organizers emphasized that this action aims to build popular and international pressure to obstruct the law’s implementation, urging all segments of society to participate actively in the protest organized as follows:
- Location: Opposite the Israeli Embassy in London.
- Date: Today, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
- Time: 6:00 PM Sharp.
“Join us to stop the execution of prisoners… Your presence makes a difference.”
“Racist” legislation exclusively targeting Palestinians

The Israeli Knesset has passed a death penalty law directly targeting Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, making execution a “default sentence” in military courts.
Adalah, a human rights organization, confirmed that this law violates the principle of equality and legitimizes “cold-blooded killing” of individuals who pose no direct threat, noting its intention to petition the Supreme Court to overturn it.
Legal experts explained that the new legislation creates a blatant discrimination; as it exempts Israelis convicted of murder from this default sentence, while imposing near-total isolation on Palestinian prisoners sentenced to death and allowing for the execution by “hanging” to be carried out covertly.
A flagrant violation of international law

This move has sparked warnings of the “de facto annexation” of the West Bank, as the Association for Civil Rights in Israel confirmed that the Knesset holds no legal authority to legislate in the occupied territories under international law.
The organizations emphasized that the application of Israeli domestic law to the Palestinian population represents a violation of British charters and the Geneva Conventions, which prohibit an occupying power from imposing its civil laws on the territories it controls.
The Voice of Protesters in London

Today’s planned protest aims to pressure the British government and the international community to take immediate action to halt this “legislative crime.”
The Palestine Support Coalition in Britain stated that this law is a tool of political repression designed to dehumanize Palestinians and liquidate their resistance to the occupation. They called for the abolition of what they described as the “racist execution law” and the protection of Palestinian prisoners and hostages from “state-sponsored systematic killing.”
