Londoners warned as man stabbed in broad daylight captured on dashcam footage
Londoners were given a warning after dashcam footage of a man being stabbed was circulating on social media.
The video was too graphic to be shown.
A community group issued a stark warning aimed at east-end locals accompanying the footage on Twitter on Wednesday.
It read: “Man has been stabbed in the back and face after an altercation. You can’t trust anyone these days. (Tramadol) Please stay safe.”
The attack was captured on dashcam footage at around 8.20am on Wednesday.
Police swooped to the scene after reports of a stabbing in Belgrave Street in Stepney, east London.
A Met spokesman said: “Police were called at approximately 8.40am on Wednesday, 15 September to reports of a man stabbed in Belgrave Street, E1
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering stab injuries; he was taken to hospital for treatment – his condition is not life-threatening.”
