In this cold, windy and icy weather members of a local mosque were out in the city centre on boxing day delivering care packages for the homeless. These included warm hats and gloves, some snacks, dental hygiene equipment and water, to keep them warm on these cold days.

In this icy weather we always have to remember people who need our help, to give them basic things and to rebuild the trust in the society.

Those humble people have helped the homeless in Sheffield City Centre giving necessary things to comfort them even a little.

Helping others is an act of spreading happiness around the world which in turn makes you happy. This gesture also shows humanity and kindness. When you help others in any form, Allah will always help you when you’re stuck somewhere. When you’re helping others, your intention should be pure, and you should be sure to help others when possible. When you see the smile on their faces it will make your life even better.

We all have to remember not to leave people behind and help when we can even if it’s little it’s huge in their eyes and to Allah.

This act of kindness has been shared in social media to the world, and to not give up in society and to always remember that there’s people out there who will always help and support each other no matter what.

Social media users immediately expressed the huge impact of such charitable acts, and were very thankful for the group’s work. Everyone was supportive and friendly with nothing but lovely words of gratitude for the effort made to help the city’s poor.

Sheffield is famous for its long-standing mosques, most notably the Markazi Jamia Mosque, which was built in 1958. Mosques have become an integral part of British society in the city, which currently houses over 30 mosques in total.
