Kuwaiti National Day Celebration in Glasgow: Music, Culture, and Community
Glasgow is set to host a vibrant celebration of Kuwaiti heritage as the Kuwait Society in Glasgow presents Al Manakh – المناخ, an event marking Kuwait National Day on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Taking place at Barony Hall, this six-hour festival will showcase Kuwaiti music, traditional food, and cultural festivities, offering an authentic taste of Kuwait in the heart of Scotland.
A Night of Culture and Celebration
The event will bring together Kuwaitis and the wider Glasgow community to celebrate Kuwait’s rich heritage. The evening will feature:
- Live Performance by Abdulaziz Al Duwaihi (عبدالعزيز الضويحي)
A highlight of the night, Abdulaziz Al Duwaihi, a renowned Kuwaiti singer, will take the stage from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, delivering a musical experience that embodies the spirit of Kuwait. - Traditional Kuwaiti Food
Guests will have the opportunity to indulge in authentic Kuwaiti cuisine, offering a taste of the Gulf’s culinary traditions. - Cultural Festivities and Community Gathering
