International online campaign under the slogan “Brave Palestine”
Palestinian activists have launched an online campaign titled: ‘Brave Palestine’, calling to the supporters of the Palestinian cause around the world to use the hashtag #BravePalestine on their accounts, starting at 10 PM on Sunday, 17 April.
The campaign aims to tackle the Western double standards in celebrating Ukraine’s resistance to the Russian invasion on one hand, and the global neglect of the brave Palestinian resistance on the other hand.

Referring to one of many examples of the western double standard, Palestine Online mentioned two separate reports on the usage of Molotov cocktails in Ukraine and Palestine, writing: “Palestinians fight their oppressors, and they get branded terrorists. Ukrainians do the same, and they get applauded for their bravely.”
In this regard, the campaign’s participants in posted various pictures and videos via Twitter and other social media platforms, which depict the brave Palestinians as they defend their homeland, and stand against the Israeli occupation and its violations of human rights.

This international call stands to spotlight the injustices committed against the Palestinian people amid the massive social media crackdown on the Palestinian resistance, as more and more young activists find their accounts and posts deleted or banned.
Therefore and among hundreds of tweets using the hashtag, one user tweeted: “When you talk about Bravery, you mean Palestine with everything in it, its men, its women, its elders and its children.” And many shared pictures of courageous Palestinian children facing the Israeli weapons with smiles upon their faces.
