Arab Delegation Visits Bolivian Embassy in London to Express Gratitude for Solidarity with Palestine
An Arab delegation, comprising prominent figures from various Arab communities in the United Kingdom, paid a visit to the Bolivian Embassy today to express their deep gratitude for Bolivia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
The visit, part of a series of initiatives undertaken by the AlArab in UK (AUK) Platform, aimed to commend countries that have taken courageous stances in support of the Palestinian cause. Bolivia, the first Latin American nation to sever diplomatic ties with Israel, was at the forefront of these initiatives.
Arab delegation in the UK honors the Bolivian Ambassador
The delegation was received by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Bolivian Embassy in the United Kingdom, Juan Carlos Crespo Montalvo. The group was led by Adnan Hmidan, Head of (AUK), and included Dr. Hafiz Al-Karmi, former president of the Palestinian Forum; Firas Abu Hilal, Editor-in-Chief of Arabi21; Karim Denis (Lowkey), an activist and artist; Dalal Jabril, operations manager at the Britain Palestine Media Centre; and Salah Abdullah, deputy manager of (AUK) Platform.
The delegation commended the Bolivian government for its courageous decision to cut ties with Israel, condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza. They expressed their deep sorrow over the thousands of Palestinian civilians killed in the recent Israeli attacks.
Arab Community Expresses its Appreciation for Bolivia
Karim Denis, speaking on behalf of the delegation, stated, “On behalf of the Arab community in the United Kingdom, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for Bolivia’s courageous stance regarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza. We were deeply moved by Bolivia’s decision to sever diplomatic relations with Israel as the first Latin American country to do so, and for its steadfast support for the Palestinian people. This bold and principled action sends a strong message of solidarity to those suffering in Gaza and demonstrates Bolivia’s commitment to justice, human rights, and peace.”
The delegation presented a commemorative plaque to the Chargé d’Affaires, expressing their sincere thanks to the Bolivian government and people for their unwavering support for justice and peace in Palestine.
