ترند بريطانيا: خطط توسيع منطقة خفض الانبعاثات تثير الجدل مجددًا في تويتر
خلال مناقشة بشأن تكلفة المعيشة أمس الخميس في قاعة المدينة، تلقى عمدة لندن والخبير المالي مارتن لويس أسئلة من جمهور الناس. وبحسَب الخبير لويس سيكون لتوسيع منطقة الانبعاثات المنخفضة تأثير أكبر على السائقين ذوي الدخل المنخفض. ثم رد عليه عمدة لندن متسائلًا: ما عدد الوَفَيَات السنوية اللازمة لجعلها مقبولة؟!
يُذكَر أن عددًا كبيرًا من مجالس لندن ومعظم الناس عارضوا السياسة التي يتبناها العمدة. وبعد المناقشة العامة استخدم الجمهور منصة تويتر للتعبير عن غضبهم من هذه السياسة باستخدام هاشتاغ (#ULEZ).

ولم يلق رد عمدة لندن قبولًا في الوسط الجماهيري، حيث قال الناس: “لم يكن عليه أن يتهم رئيس البلدية لويس بأنه يريد إماتة الناس لمجرد الإشارة إلى أن رسوم توسيع منطقة خفض الانبعاثات يؤثر على ذوي الدخل المنخفض”. واعتبروا تعليقه غير ضروري وغير لطيف!
Not so great to hear Martin Lewis accused by the Mayor of wanting people to die merely for pointing out that ULEZ charges will affect those on lower incomes more due to having older vehicles. He could have just talked about his scrappage scheme instead of making that remark.

وشارك مستخدمو تويتر قصصًا عن الصعوبات التي يواجهونها بسبب دفع تكاليف منطقة خفض الانبعاثات. وسلطوا الضوء على معاناة الناس العاديين، في حين كان “صادق خان في سيارته التي يبلغ ثمنها 300 ألف باوند!”.
My grandson is struggling for work as a gardener due to the weather so i have had him here for a few days tidying things up, i j had to pay his ulez for two days £35.00 !!!!
To go to work to feed and house his family!

في حين قال مستخدم آخر: “كنت معجبًا أشد الإعجاب بصادق خان وكنت أرى نفسي ناخبًا عماليًّا مدى الحياة!”. ولكني بعد خطط توسيع منطقة خفض الانبعاثات “لم أعُد من المؤيدين!”.

إضافة إلى ذلك شارك الناس نتائج الأبحاث التي خلصت إلى أن “توسيع منطقة خفض الانبعاثات، لن يكون له أي تأثير يُذكَر في جعل هواء لندن أنظف”. هذا وتشير الإحصائيات إلى أن معظم سكان لندن عارضوا عملية التوسيع، ومن ثَمّ يشعر الناس بالحيرة؛ بسبب إصرار العمدة على ذلك.
I read that even the ULEZ study by ICL commissioned by Sadly Khant concluded that the new zone on its own would have little effect in making London’s air cleaner. In addition, in the public consultation over 75% said they didn’t want it, yet still he’s going ahead. Madness!

It has been shown that the ULEZ will have little to no effect on air quality on the outer boroughs of London, this is purely a money making exercise. Stop lying. You need the cash to shore up TfL. You are scamming the whole of London.
