He killed an Afghan refugee but police refrain from naming him

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder for stabbing an Afghan teenager. Police have refrained from revealing the perpetrator’s identity.

Hazrat Wali is an 18-year-old who dies on Tuesday after being fatally stabbed by another teenager, reports the Mirror.

Mr Wali was an Afghan refugee who came to the UK two years ago, according to the Evening Standard.

The incident is said to be filmed by some students and shared on Snapchat, but police implore everyone to refrain from sharing it out of respect for the victim’s family.

The identity of the perpetrator has yet to be made public, perhaps on the grounds that he is underage.
